Raw “Brownie” Balls

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2-1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 dark (dairy-free, optional) chocolate chips


In a medium bowl combine the almond flour, maple syrup, cocoa powder, coconut oil, salt and vanilla and cinnamon, if using. Stir until the batter is smooth.  Add chocolate chips and gently mix again to incorporate.

Make Brownie balls by rolling a small amount of batter in your hands. Optionally, you can roll the ball in desiccated coconut.

Put on the plate or in an airtight container. The Brownies are best when chilled. If in a hurry to eat, put them in a freezer for 20 min, otherwise chill in the fridge for about one hour.
